BBC promo pictures - Under The Lake

It’s tuesday, so the publicity pictures for Saturday’s episode have been released by the BBC.


The quaffed pack-shot image shows The Doctor wearing his hoodie/Paul Smith jumper combination yet again.
I’d quite like this image, if it wasn’t for Jenna’s vacant expression!





This looks significant....


There are also a number of action shots from scenes in the episode with other members of the cast.
Tallying these images to the pack-shot, it looks like they have co-ordinated them better.
Last year when there was notable disparity between the pack-shots issued and what was actually worn on screen.

    Another new pair of boots? Looks like a basic capped toe and no broguing. Or am I just seeing things...

    Yep, pretty sure you are correct! Was sure they were probably martens but didn't come across that style when looked, that or I missed them the first time around.

      I think they are only sold in the UK, maybe in other parts of Europe as well, but I hadn't checked. They unfortunately don't sell them in the US and can't ship them here, but there is a very close alternative called the "Talib."

      They were apparently available on the US site at one time, but have sold out. They have been showing up on eBay though, some at decent prices I've heard.

    They (Mayers) are only £45 on the official UK Dr Martens website at the moment. When I looked yesterday they only had size 6 but just now they had 10 and 11 too. I just had the last pair of 10 but if you need 11, hurry, you might be lucky. And if they're getting new stock in, it's worth checking regularly.

    The best image I've found which clearly shows the new boots and what appears to be a new hoodie. This one doesn't look to be knitted like the All Saints one, and features an unusual double zip. I've not had any luck in finding it yet, but Capaldi's zips are a unique shape, so hopefully it shouldn't be too long before we source the screen accurate garment.

    The hoodie is from Smedley, though it was guessed on GB to be the Rickon, it's wool and it was tweeted to be dark green cotton. Haven't found one in green yet though...
