The Doctor’s sunglasses - positive ID!

It’s barely been 24 hours since the series nine teaser trailer was shown, and the Doctor Who cosplay community already has a positive ID on the sunglasses!


Several eagle-eyed forum members have found them to be Ray Ban’s original Wayfarers.

      Well, they look pretty green in the big close-up - but could that be post-production colouring?

    I think they're Capaldi's own Ray Bans which he wore quite a lot during filming last year and again this year. Clearly someone thought they looked good on his Doctor!

      I thought the exact same thing really! I actually wanted a pair myself after seeing him wear them on set!
